Description: barbBarbara Lewis, PE

  Ms. Lewis is a registered professional engineer in Colorado.  She holds a MS degree in Civil Engineering from Purdue University and a BS in Civil Engineering from Texas A&M University. 

  Ms. Lewis has lived in the Pikes Peak region since 1983.

  As a forensic engineer for Dakota Ridge Engineering, Ms. Lewis provides structural evaluations and design services of residential and light commercial structures.  She previously worked for RMG in the same capacity. Previously to that she and her husband performed engineering for Dakota Ridge Engineering.  She and her husband owned the local franchise of Pillar to Post Home Inspections from 1999 to 2011.  They performed over 5000 pre-sale home and commercial inspections for a wide variety of clients.  From 1983 to 1999, Ms. Lewis worked for APTEK, Inc, in Colorado Springs providing analysis of structures subjected to blast and other loads.  Prior to that, she worked as a stress analyst at Sandia National Laboratories in Albuquerque, NM

 

 

Brett Lewis, PE 

  Brett is a registered professional engineer in Colorado.  He  holds a Ph. D. in Mechanical Engineering from University of Colorado and a  MS degree in Civil Engineering from University of Arizona and a BS in Civil Engineering from University of Arizona. 

  Brett has lived in the Pikes Peak region since 1983.

  As a forensic engineer for Dakota Ridge Engineering, Brett provides structural evaluations and design services of residential and light commercial structures. This includes design renovations of multi-use buildings.   He previously worked for NSG, performing design and construction site management. Previously to that he and  Barbara performed engineering for Dakota Ridge Engineering.   From 1983 to 2000, Brett worked for APTEK, Inc, in Colorado Springs providing analysis of structures subjected to blast and other loads.  Prior to that, he worked as a stress analyst at Sandia National Laboratories in Albuquerque, NM
